Description

THE REAL PROBLEM

Your portfolio is beautiful. And yet something is not working the way you hoped. Clients see your images and move on. They don’t remember you specifically. They can’t quite put into words what makes you different, and so they don’t choose you. Your best work gets lost among images that dilute it. Your editing shifts from session to session. And when someone looks at your portfolio, they see a collection of nice photographs rather than a clear point of view.

The problem is not your talent. It’s that your portfolio is not telling a story yet.

WHAT WE DO TOGETHER

In 60 minutes, we work through four things that change how your portfolio is perceived and remembered.

Finding your differentiator. We start with the question clients are always asking before they book: why you, instead of someone else? We look at your style, the story behind your work, and what makes your approach genuinely yours. By the end of this part, you will have a clear positioning statement you can actually use.

Image curation. Not every strong image belongs in your portfolio. We look at which images reinforce your differentiator and which ones quietly undermine it. We identify the images that need to go, the ones that should be featured more prominently, and the gaps you need to fill in future sessions. You leave with a curated selection of 10 to 15 images that tell a consistent story.

Color palette and visual consistency. Your editing is part of your identity. We define your signature color palette and look at how consistent it is across your current portfolio. We talk about how to align your color choices with your brand so that clients recognize your work before they even see your name, whether on your website, on Instagram, or in print.

Portfolio sequencing. The order of your images shapes how clients feel about your work before they consciously process it. We arrange your portfolio strategically, deciding which image opens the story, where the strongest images live, and how the visual rhythm guides someone from first impression to booking.

WHAT YOU WALK AWAY WITH

After our call, you will know exactly what makes you different and how to communicate it visually. You will have a clear list of images to keep, remove, and create. You will have your signature color palette defined. You will have a sequenced portfolio ready to guide clients through your story. And you will have a 30-day implementation plan so the work does not stop when the call ends. Within 48 hours you also receive a written summary of everything we covered.

THIS IS FOR YOU IF

Your portfolio is beautiful but it does not feel fully like you yet. You want to stand out rather than blend in. You are ready to become recognizable and attract clients who seek out your specific style. Maybe you are about to relaunch your website or Instagram and you want to do it right. Or you simply need clarity on what your visual brand actually is, so you can move forward with confidence.

HOW THIS WORKS

When you book, you receive a short prep questionnaire about your photography, your goals, and the clients you want to attract. Before the call, you send me your current portfolio link, 15 to 20 images you consider your best, any images you are unsure about, and a note about your biggest portfolio challenges. Then we meet on Google Meet for 60 minutes and work through everything together.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How many images should I have in my portfolio?

Typically 15 to 20 strong, cohesive images. Quality matters far more than quantity. One image that does not fit your story can quietly damage your brand.

Can you edit my images during the call?

No, we focus on strategy. But by the end of the call you will know exactly which adjustments to make and why.

What if I am not happy with my current images?

That is a good place to start. We will identify the gaps and map out which new sessions to shoot to strengthen your portfolio going forward.

How often should I update my portfolio?

After this call you will have a system for maintaining consistency as you add new work, so updates feel intentional rather than random.

Will this help me attract better clients?

Yes. When your portfolio has a clear point of view, it attracts clients who are specifically looking for what you offer. Those clients tend to trust you more and invest more.
