Portfolio review is one of the best ways to gain valuable insights into your work and receive advice that will help you evolve. Additionally, discussions with an experienced photographer will help you keep an open mind and be receptive to changes.
From identifying your own vision to the composition of images and the emotions they convey, this online newborn portfolio evaluation session will cover the most crucial aspects of newborn photography. We will go through several stages where we describe and interpret the images, theorizing the most important information. Together, we will answer questions such as: “What makes a successful newborn portrait?”, “How do we determine if an image is valuable and why?”, “What do our images convey?”, “Where do we make mistakes?”, etc. The evaluation takes into account both the individual analysis of images and the overall assessment of your portfolio.
By the end of the session, you will have a clear picture of the aspects you need to improve and will be able to put into practice the discussed techniques.
What does the portfolio evaluation include?
We will analyze 10-15 images relevant to your portfolio and focus on the areas that need improvement. Therefore, during the session, we will discuss:
• Technique
• Lighting
• Positioning
• Editing
• Creative vision
The session takes place on Google Meet and lasts for 60 minutes. The date and time are mutually agreed upon after payment confirmation.
The purpose of this analysis is to enrich, through your own photographic vision and the experience gained over the years, the in-depth knowledge and understanding of newborn photographers, regardless of their skill level.
In addition to the photo sessions and courses I organize, I also serve as a judge in international photography competitions and have undergone training to provide the most accurate analysis. Moreover, I have guided numerous photographers from both the country and abroad who are now enjoying remarkable results.
So, if you want to benefit from the advice and observations of a professional photographer, I invite you to a discussion about your portfolio.
